James Smith 2nd XI Keeper
And North East U16’s Keeper

Well Done James Smith
Up and coming junior keeper James Smith 2nd XI Men’s Team
Has been playing for York Under 16’s in the National U16 Cup
On 14th Feb he helped the to a 8-
he had little to do but commanded his defence with authority to keep
a clean sheet.this has taken them to the quarter finals which will be
against Bromley & Beckenham in London on 7th March. James
has not let this go to his head and has had an excellent year both in
goal as well as playing outfield for some of the lower teams. His
commitment to Halifax Hockey Club is to be admired so to is the
efforts of his parents who have the unenviable task of transporting
him to three or even four matches over a weekend at some
considerable cost.. Keep up the good work James
